Investment Fund

May 29, 2024

Dear Friends,

In the upcoming academic year, we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Emerson Waldorf School. Your support has enabled us to achieve remarkable growth that is highlighted in the enclosed Gratitude Report.

Emerson has always stood as a model of holistic education, as we’ve nurtured young minds with a blend of academic excellence, artistic expression, and a profound connection to the natural world. Over the past four decades, our commitment to the principles of Waldorf education has shaped students into thoughtful, compassionate,  and engaged individuals.

We’re excited that Emerson is poised for the highest enrollment ever and the third consecutive year of record growth. This expansion is a testament to the dedication of our faculty and staff, the consistent generosity of our donors and community, and the enduring relevance of Waldorf education.

With growth comes the need for sustainability and long-term planning. To ensure Emerson thrives for generations, we are embarking on a crucial initiative to strengthen our equivalent of an endowment. A robust investment fund provides stability and allows us to weather economic uncertainties. It also enables us to invest in innovative programs and offer financial assistance to a significant part of our community.

Please join us in continuing to build on our successes by contributing to our investment fund. Your support will help secure Emerson’s future and empower us to expand our impact, reach more students, and educate them to meet the challenges of our rapidly changing world.

There are also new ways to donate to Emerson! One high-impact method we invite you to explore is tax-smart giving. These gifts, such as contributions through an IRA, Donor-Advised Fund, stocks, or even emerging avenues like cryptocurrency, can significantly improve our ability to serve our students. They also come with financial benefits for you.

Each contribution supports our mission and is an investment in the future leaders who walk through our doors each day.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to Emerson Waldorf School. Together, we can ensure that our school continues to guide generations of students to become independent and creative thinkers who are collaborative leaders in social and environmental justice.

In community,
